I travelled on a toll road, how do I pay?
You can buy a Sydney Pass or open an account after you've travelled, but there are time limits for doing so.
For the Sydney Pass, you have 5 days after your first trip to buy a pass.
For Tag and Tagless accounts, you have 10 days after your first trip* to open an account.
If you don't cover your travel in these time frames, a toll notice with payment instructions will be sent to the vehicle's registered owner.
*In New South Wales and Victoria, you can cover trips made up to 10 days ago on your Tag, Tagless or Commercial account on the following roads. New South Wales: Cross City Tunnel, Eastern Distributor, Hills M2, Lane Cove Tunnel, M5 East, WestConnex M4 & M8, Westlink M7. Backdating is not available on the Sydney Harbour Bridge & Tunnel, or M5 South-West Motorway. Victoria: CityLink. Backdating is not available for EastLink. In Queensland, you can cover trips made up to 9 days ago on: Airportlink M7, Clem Jones Tunnel (Clem7), Gateway Motorway, Go Between Bridge, Legacy Way, Logan Motorway, Toowoomba Bypass
