How do I top up my account?

The most convenient way to top up your account is to set up auto payments.

  • Linkt app

How to setup auto payments

  1. Log in to your account.

  2. Select Set up auto payments.

  3. Enter your Auto payment amount and Trigger amount.

  4. Click Update.  

You'll need a valid credit card^ or your bank account details for direct debit. 

You'll be asked to choose the balance level that will automatically trigger an automatic payment. You'll also be asked to choose the amount that will be automatically debited from your card or bank account.

How to top up manually 

  1. Log in to your account.  

  2. Select Make a payment. 

  3. Enter your payment amount. 

  4. Follow the prompts to receive payment confirmation. 

 

Low balance 

If you're topping up manually, it's important to do so before your balance runs out. If you travel after your balance runs out you may receive a toll invoice and charged additional fees. When your balance is low, your tag will warn you by beeping 3 times whenever you pass through a toll point.  

 

How to setup up auto payments

  1. Open the Linkt app.

  2. Tap Set Auto Top Up.

  3. Enter your Auto top-up and Trigger amount.

  4. Tap Next and choose a payment method.

  5. Tap Save.

You'll be asked to choose the balance level that will automatically trigger an automatic payment. You'll also be asked to choose the amount that will be automatically debited from your card or bank account.

How to top up manually

  1. Tap Balance on the bottom of the screen.

  2. Under Top Up you can tap Top up with Credit Card to make a one off manual payment (note: depending on your payment set-up, you may see a range of options here).

  3. Enter the top up amount, choose your payment source, tap Pay and follow the prompts to receive payment confirmation.

 

Low balance

You can also set up push notification reminders on the Linkt app to let you know when your balance is running low.

Without logging in 

  • Go to the Quick account payment page
  • Enter your payment amount and pass or account number  
  • Enter your payment information^ and follow the prompts to receive payment confirmation.    

Pay in person  

You can top up your account in person at participating retail outlets. Payments can be made using cash, credit card or debit card^.   

If you'd like to pay in person use your postcode or address to find your nearest participating outlet.  

 

^ When you pay via an accepted credit card or debit card, you may be charged a Payment Card Surcharge.
