How do I top up my account?
The most convenient way to top up your account is to set up auto payments. It's an easy way to avoid additional fees and make sure you're always ready to travel. You can also top up your account manually or pay in person.
Set up auto payments
Simply log in to your account and select Set up automatic payments. You'll need a valid credit card or your bank account details for direct debit.
You'll be asked to choose the balance level that will automatically trigger an auto payment. You'll also be asked to choose the amount that will be automatically debited from your card or bank account.
Top up manually
Log in to your account and select Make a payment. You'll need a valid credit card to complete the process. For pre-paid accounts, there is now no manual top up fee.
If you're topping up manually, it's important to do so before your balance runs out. If you travel after your balance runs out you'll be sent a toll invoice and charged additional fees. When your balance is low, your tag will warn you by beeping 3 times when you pass through a toll point.
Make a quick payment
Top up without logging in by making a quick payment online. All you need is your account or pass number.
Pay in person
You can top up your account in person at participating Australia Post, 7-Eleven, United Petroleum, Puma or newsagent outlets. Payments can be made using cash, credit card or debit card. Remember to take your statement or invoice with you.
If you'd like to pay in person use your postcode or address to find your nearest participating outlet.
